Data Update | First Time Mothers

Updated data for 2014-16 is now available for First Time Mothers. This dataset looks at the number of first time births to mothers under 20 and over 34.

The 2014-16 (3 year aggregate) percentage of all first time mothers, aged 19 and under for Fife is 11.6% a drop of 4.2 percentage points from 2009-11 data. The percentage for Scotland has dropped 4.0 percentage points since 2009-11 and is currently 8.4%.

You can find the latest data reported in the Children's Services Profile through either the Health and Wellbeing or Education and Skills themes.
