Data Update: Job Seekers Allowance

The March 2017 Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) data for Fife is now available to view on KnowFife at datazone level upwards.

This includes figures on JSA claimants by gender, age and duration.

In March 2017, the Fife rate of total JSA claimants is back to 1.8% after a slight increase in February to 1.9%. The Fife rate has dropped from 2.4% since April 2016. The Scotland rate had dropped from 1.7% to 1.4% since April 2016 but increased to 1.5% in February and remains 1.5% in March.

Within Fife, all of Fife's seven Area Committees saw an increase in the rate from February 2017 to March 2017.
